Online Learning Programs: The Arizona Universities Network

The Arizona Universities Network (AZUN), through the vision of the Arizona Board of Regents, is the gateway to Arizona’s premier public institutions of higher education. Through AZUN, students can earn a fully accredited, online undergraduate degree, graduate degree, or professional certification from one of Arizona’s three distinguished universities, each with a proven track record of more than a century of excellence.

AZUN offers online programs through Arizona State University (ASU), Northern Arizona University (NAU), and the University of Arizona (UA).

Distance Learning Program
AZUN is a consortium of Arizona’s three universities: Arizona State University, Northern Arizona University, and The University of Arizona. Students can earn an online degree from one institution and take classes from all three.

Fifteen hundred online classes and fifty-three degrees allow students to design a course of study that fits busy work schedules and lifestyles. The distance courses engage students in activities that take them beyond their computer screens. AZUN students learn skills in real-world settings to advance their professional careers and facilitate networking, a key to career fulfillment.

Delivery Media
Most online classes are Web based; the class lectures and assignments are delivered through the Internet. Instructors work with designers and technicians at the three universities to adapt the classes to the Web format. When students sign up for a Web class they get the URL (the Internet site) of the class. Information on the Web site tells students how to progress through the class and what is expected.

Programs of Study
Only reputable, experienced faculty members from ASU, NAU, and UA teach classes offered through AZUN.

All three participating AZUN universities are accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCA).
